RETURN POLICY

RETURN PERIOD

Returns are accepted for U.S. customers on regular price items within five (5) business days of receipt of your order.  Note that shipping costs are non-refundable.  Returns may be for refund, credit, or replacement.  We only replace items if they come defective from publisher or manufacturer.  All return items require proof of purchase.  Please contact us at

arcstarbooks@mufon.com or 949-476-8366 within five (5) business days of receipt of your package to make arrangements with us.

 

If more than five (5) business days have gone by since the receipt of your order and you have not contacted us about returning an item(s), we cannot offer you a refund, credit, or replacement.

We require receipt and inspection of the item(s) you wish to return in order to process your request.  You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.  If you are shipping an item(s) back to us over $75 in value, we suggest you consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

RESTOCKING FEE  

A restocking fee of 15% may be deducted from refunds for items returned within the return period that have not incurred material damage and are not missing components included in the original shipment.  For items that have been damaged after delivery, you may be charged an additional restocking fee of either 25% or 50% of the original purchase price based on the severity of damage. If we receive a return which has been damaged and not is sellable condition, we may return the item to you without issuing a refund. 

ELIGIBILITY

All international sales are final.  Returns are accepted for U.S. customers on regular price items only.

Return items must be in sellable condition.  We reserve the right to deny requests for refunds, credits, or replacements that do not conform to our policies, pass inspection, or that we deem abusive.  Per our Terms of Service, we reserve the right to deny service to anyone for any reason at any time.  This includes customers who abuse our return policy or make excessive returns. 

Note that all sales on discounted items are final and cannot be refunded, credited, or replaced, with the exception of DVD, VHS, or Cassettes that come defective from manufacturer.  

We require receipt of the item(s) you wish to return in order to process your request.  To be eligible for a return, your item must be shipped to us in the original packaging and meet the following conditions:

New Books

Must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in our original packaging.  Obvious signs of use or damage will disqualify new books from refunds, replacement, or credit.

Second Hand Books

Must be in the same condition that you received it, and in our original packaging.  Obvious signs of further use or damage will disqualify second hand books from refunds, replacement, or credit.  

Media (DVD, VHS, Cassette, CDs, etc.)

Must be in the same condition that you received it, and in our original packaging.  Removal of the shrink-wrap will disqualify media from refund, replacement, or credit, with the exception of defective items.  We will verify working condition of media on our premises before granting a refund, replacement, or credit.    

Digital Downloads / Streams

All sales on downloadable or streaming digital files, including but not limited to audio, video, written text, or software, are final and are NOT ELIGIBLE for refund, credit, or replacement.    

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item, as well as the approval or rejection of your refund or credit.  If you are approved, then your refund or credit will be processed.  Credits will be applied to your account at your request.  Refunds will be made to your credit card or original method of payment, within five business days of approval.

LOSS OF MERCHANDISE IN TRANSIT

ARCSTAR BOOKS accepts no liability in the event of loss of merchandise in the mail.  We take every precaution in packing and shipping all orders so merchandise arrives safely to its destination.  Please check with your post office before contacting ARCSTAR about a delayed shipment.
