Do I need to create an account to make purchases from your store?

No.  Accounts are optional.  Accounts with our online store are for the purposes of storing your shipping address and keeping a record of your orders.  This will save you time during checkout in the future.  

What carriers do you use for shipping?

We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) since it offers the lowest shipping rates for books and media.  If you require alternate carries, we'll be happy to work with you in finding alternatives.

How soon do I get my order?

We ship orders within two (2) business days of receipt and payment via United States Postal Service (USPS) Media Mail service.  We will notify you once your order is on its way.  The USPS Media Mail service takes 4-14 days to deliver packages inside the contiguous U.S.  If you need faster delivery, please contact us to make arrangements.

Do you ship outside the U.S.A.?

Yes.  We have extensive experience serving international customers and will ship worldwide.  International customers should contact us for further details before placing an order online.

What is your return policy?

Requests for returns are accepted within five (5) business days of receipt for customers in the U.S.  Returns may be for refund, replacement, or credit and require proof of purchase and compliance with our Return Policy.  A Restocking Fee of 15% may be applied to returns.  Please contact us within five (5) business days of receipt of your package to make arrangements with us.  All sales outside the U.S.A. are final.  Please review our return Policy for further details.

What if I don’t want to submit my payment or order online?  Can I pay through other means?

An item I want is listed as "Sold Out" in your store.  Will you get more?

We re-stock books according to their availability and customer demand.  A number of the books we carry are one-of-a-kind or hard to find items.  These are often not possible to re-stock and we will promptly remove images of these items from our store once they are gone.  If you want a specific book send us a note and we'll let you know if we can get it for you.

I'm looking for a specific title within the topics you cover, but I do not see it in your store.  Can you find it for me?

Send us a note with the tile(s) you are looking for and we will do our very best to find it for you.  We will let you know the result of our search and take it from there.  

Why do I see a $1 transaction from ARCSTAR Books on my credit card?

Our credit card processing company may at times run temporary $1 authorization transactions to ensure the validity of credit cards.  These are temporary transactions that are promptly voided by our processing company, but that may appear as pending transactions on your statements.  The $1 will ultimately not be charged to your account.
